This program supports the advancement of research capacity and career development for investigators in EPSCoR-eligible jurisdictions through fellowships that enable extended or periodic collaborative research visits to premier U.S. research institutions or centers. The goal is to catalyze sustainable improvements in research competitiveness, foster new collaborations, and enhance institutional research infrastructure in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. There are two tracks: one for general NSF-supported research and one specifically for collaborations with NASA research centers.
