Description
This opportunity supports the development of new interdisciplinary research communities and topics by funding networking activities for researchers and relevant science, technology, and industrial groups. The grant is designed to facilitate collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the formation of new partnerships that may lead to future multidisciplinary research applications or virtual centres of excellence. Activities that can be funded include network management, meetings, workshops, administrative support, and communication costs. The grant does not fund direct research activities.
The focus is on building critical mass, promoting mobility between academia and industry, and generating added value through interdisciplinary engagement in fields relevant to the EPSRC remit, such as artificial intelligence, engineering, digital security, ICT, energy, mathematical and physical sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, and quantum technologies.
