Description
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), funds overseas visits that enable researchers to learn new techniques or form and develop collaborations. This responsive-mode opportunity supports excellent discovery-led research, with the majority of the proposed research falling within EPSRC’s remit.
Supported areas include artificial intelligence, digital security and resilience, energy and decarbonisation, engineering, healthcare technologies, information and communication technologies, manufacturing and the circular economy, mathematical sciences, physical sciences, and quantum technologies. Travel should add value to existing or future research and innovation, promote collaboration, and develop skills. Applicants must explain why the destination’s people and resources are appropriate, why travel is needed now, and why alternatives would not suffice.
