Description
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), part of UKRI, supports excellent discovery-led research through lead agency agreements with overseas funders. These agreements reduce barriers to international collaboration by allowing a single collaborative application and a joint funding decision informed by one lead agency review. EPSRC funds the UK work, while the relevant overseas agency funds its national partners.
The opportunity covers artificial intelligence, digital security and resilience, energy and decarbonisation, engineering, healthcare technologies, information and communication technologies, manufacturing and the circular economy, mathematical sciences, physical sciences and quantum technologies. Projects should advance understanding and generate new knowledge, with potential benefits for research, society, the economy or the environment.
