Key Information: Invitation-only: applicants must hold a prior NNF Research Infrastructure Programme – Large Equipment and Facilities grant.
The Novo Nordisk Foundation’s Equipment Upgrade Programme supports the maintenance and upgrading of research infrastructure previously funded through its Research Infrastructure Programme – Large Equipment and Facilities. It aims to extend scientific equipment lifetimes, improve infrastructure impact and sustainability, and maintain access for Danish research, innovation and industry communities.
Supported infrastructure enables biomedicine, clinical and translational medicine, industrial and environmental biotechnology, plant science, agriculture and food biotechnology. Natural, technical and computational sciences, including data science, are also supported where they offer relevant applications in health, sustainability, biomedicine or biotechnology. The programme prioritises successful existing infrastructure that has enabled new research and served users beyond the applicant’s own group or institution.
