Description
The College of American Pathologists Foundation funds innovative, data-driven, and community-engaged projects that show how pathology can improve equity and equality in patient care. Projects may assess disparities in diagnostic processes, sample representation, or testing algorithms; develop educational, procedural, or community-based interventions; or increase representation of diverse populations in diagnostic datasets or clinical trials.
Projects may also work with community clinics or See, Test & Treat® programs to improve underrepresented groups’ knowledge of and access to clinical trials. The foundation gives priority consideration to approaches that could be sustained or scaled across institutions.
