    Description

The European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) supports early-career paediatric endocrinologists and basic scientists in gaining information and experience on a specific research issue or laboratory technique. The grant finances short-term visits to external laboratories, hospitals or institutes, or visits by outside experts providing essential guidance, consultation or advice at the applicant’s home institute.

Supported activities include learning a new technique, troubleshooting existing methods, discussing new methods in a research seminar, compiling statistics for joint research projects, and testing samples within joint research projects. The programme is overseen by ESPE’s Science Committee, with scientific assessment focused on the quality and relevance of the proposed work, its feasibility, and its benefit to the researcher and home institution.
