    Description

The European Society for Paediatric Research (ESPR) supports the establishment, conduct, and completion of research projects through two funding opportunities. Part of its research funding scheme launched in 2017, the programme serves early career investigators, postdoctoral researchers, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals. It is overseen by the ESPR Research Grant Committee and supported by an unconditional educational grant from Chiesi Farmaceutici.

The Neonatal CARE Research Grant focuses on improving patient outcomes through studies of lung maturity and respiratory development in preterm infants, treatments for apnoea of prematurity, and interventions for neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, especially surfactant therapy. The Future of Paediatric Care Research Grant supports research across all fields related to paediatrics.
