Description
The European Sleep Research Society (ESRS) Meetings & Courses Fellowship supports attendance at ESRS meetings and courses or ESRS-endorsed events in Europe. It funds travel and accommodation rather than a standalone research project. The published programme covers events during the 2026 calendar year and is available to scientists, investigators, clinicians, allied health professionals, and nurses.
The fellowship aims to advance careers in sleep research, with particular emphasis on junior professionals at early career stages. Selection considers the learning goals of attendance, the benefit of the specific event to the applicant’s career, and the applicant’s experience and publications relative to seniority. The ESRS Scientific Committee also seeks diversity in age, gender, geographical distribution, and research topics.
