    Description

The European Society for Sexual Medicine (ESSM) offers Basic Scientist Travel Grants to help members actively engaged in basic sexual medicine research attend its Annual Congresses. The programme addresses the difficulty that basic scientists who are not actively engaged in clinical work may face in securing sponsorship for international meetings. It supports congress registration and travel expenses, with particular emphasis on researchers whose access to meeting funding is limited.

ESSM is a not-for-profit organisation registered in Belgium that promotes public awareness, education and research in sexual medicine. These grants form part of its wider support for advancing understanding of human sexual physiology and psychology, translating fundamental research into clinical use, and developing medicines, technologies and methods to treat sexual dysfunction and improve sexual health.
