Description
The National Scleroderma Foundation’s Established Investigator Grant supports highly innovative or highly relevant pilot studies related to scleroderma. It is open to established investigators both within and outside the field. Projects should generate preliminary data that can support applications for more substantial federal or non-federal research funding.
Relevant work includes scleroderma-related lung disease, pediatric scleroderma, vascular manifestations, organ damage, animal models, and therapeutic approaches. Immunology, cell biology, epidemiology, and health services research are also areas of interest. The Foundation reviews eligible, responsive applications for scientific merit, considering significance, approach, innovation, investigators, and research environment.
