Description
The American Psychological Foundation (APF) administers the Esther Katz Rosen Fund Grants to advance and apply knowledge about identified gifted and talented children and adolescents. The program supports research, pilot projects, and research-based programs that enable and enhance these young people’s development. It also encourages promising psychologists to continue innovative research and programs in this area.
Established in 1974 through a bequest, the fund connects the development of knowledge with its application to gifted children. In November 2013, APF combined the Rosen Graduate Student Fellowship and Rosen Early Career Research Grant into this single program. Selection considers alignment with program goals, quality and impact, innovation, contributions to the field, and applicants’ ability to carry out the work.
