This funding supports cybersecurity product and service development by companies registered in Estonia, strengthening collaboration with research and development institutions. It is implemented by the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EIS) in partnership with the Information System Authority (RIA), with EU support through the NCCEE2 project. As cascade funding, the EU-funded project runs the call and awards and pays the support itself.
The programme supports new products and improvements to existing products, aiming to increase their added value and companies’ competitiveness. Its focus areas are cybersecurity automation, artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, tools and strategies for transitioning to quantum-resistant cryptographic algorithms, and cybersecurity of space technologies. Supported development work includes proofs of concept, prototypes, component testing and demonstrations, product trials, industrial experiments, and feasibility studies.
