The honoree delivers a one-hour expository lecture at MAA MathFest each summer, intended to highlight exceptional achievements and the profound impact of women in mathematics. The award honors the legacy of Etta Zuber Falconer, whose vision and dedication advanced minorities and women in scientific careers.
