Funding Amounts: Up to HK$3 million per research project grant; up to HK$0.5 million per exchange (mobility) grant; project duration up to 5 years or duration of Horizon Europe project, whichever is shorter.

Description
This scheme aims to foster robust research partnerships between Hong Kong and European research communities by supporting joint projects under the Horizon Europe framework. It encourages collaborative research in fields such as food, agriculture, biosolutions (related to the agri-food sector), climate change, and biodiversity. The mechanism is designed to enable research teams from University Grants Committee (UGC)-funded universities in Hong Kong to participate in world-class, high-impact research together with European partners.
