    Description

The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership’s fourth Joint Transnational Co-funded Call supports research, innovation and collaboration across marine and maritime sectors. Run by the Partnership under Horizon Europe with European Commission support, it pools resources from 33 funding organisations across 28 countries alongside EU contributions. Its goal is a climate-neutral, sustainable and innovative European blue economy.

Projects must deliver impact-driven contributions to blue economy transformation and carbon neutrality through an impact pathway approach. The call supports actionable knowledge, policy uptake, capacity development and inclusive innovation. Proposals address one main priority area, spanning sustainable sector transitions, digital and ecosystem-based sea-use management, sustainable blue bioresources, or coastal resilience. Cross-basin collaboration and assessing the potential for impacts, replication and scaling across sea basins are central to the call’s scope.
