Funded by the European Commission through Horizon Europe’s Research Infrastructures programme, this Coordination and Support Action strengthens the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Federation as a platform for innovation. It supports work helping researchers and resource providers turn data, publications, software, tools, and services into products, services, and solutions that benefit society and economic competitiveness, particularly through cross-disciplinary and cross-country collaboration.
The topic focuses on intellectual property rules, licensing, business models, and access schemes that enable knowledge valorisation and collaboration with industry. Expected results include greater legal clarity, stronger incentives for EOSC contributors, and better access for innovators, deep-tech startups, and startups emerging from academia. Proposals should build on previous and ongoing Horizon Europe projects, including IP4OS, and existing EU knowledge valorisation guidance.
