    Description

This European Commission topic funds Research and Innovation Actions under Horizon Europe’s Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society programme. It seeks groundbreaking findings and methods that are developed, verified and put into practice to realise the potential of cultural heritage, arts and/or cultural and creative industries as drivers of sustainable innovation and/or a European sense of belonging.

Applicants may focus on particular areas or issues, or take a broader approach, provided they address the expected outcome. Research should move beyond descriptive studies towards transformative, actionable knowledge. Where appropriate, proposals should build on previous research, networks or platforms while exploring new areas rather than duplicating activities already funded. The programme requires effective and extensive contributions from social sciences and humanities disciplines and relevant expertise.
