Innowwide supports innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups exploring the viability of research or commercial plans in international markets. Funded through the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs, it provides six-month market feasibility grants to assess the practical, technical and economic potential of an innovative product, process or service in one target country. The Innowwide team at the Eureka Secretariat manages grant agreements.
Projects help businesses understand local market conditions, test business-model viability, identify legal, financial, political, cultural and behavioural factors, and explore opportunities for further research and innovation. The call has no thematic or industry focus. Work is carried out with a local counterpart, connecting the applicant’s innovation with the market where it hopes to develop or commercialise it.
