This European Commission Horizon Europe Innovation Action supports the development of promising Pillar II results into products, services, processes and business models ready for production and adoption in the EU and Associated Countries. It funds work beyond the laboratory, including prototyping, testing, demonstration, piloting, large-scale validation and market replication under real-world conditions.
Projects should combine later-stage development activities with commercialisation, scaling, user engagement or preparation for deployment and investment. End users and market actors are expected to co-develop and validate solutions so that demand-side needs shape development and reduce innovation risks. The topic seeks accelerated uptake with societal benefits, sustainable competitiveness, resilience and strategic autonomy, while taking account of societal needs, cultural diversity and responsible innovation.
