The European Commission funds this Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action to promote Europe’s research and technology infrastructures as destinations for scientific talent and reliable partners for international cooperation. Projects should create interconnected international scientific networks, enable EU and Associated Country communities to engage with excellent researchers outside the EU, and strengthen the visibility of European infrastructures while safeguarding research security and critical data.
Supported activities include partnerships with non-associated third-country scientific institutions, including universities, to align methodologies, testing protocols and data sharing. Workshops, training programmes, summer schools and scientific visits should build long-term links and target students, early-career researchers and/or scientific staff, including technicians and support staff, with gender-balanced participation. Outreach may include reusable communication materials, coordinated participation in international science forums and links with EURAXESS.
