    Description

UNITE Open Call 2 funds joint interregional projects developing digital health solutions under the EU-funded UNITE European Digital Health Valleys initiative. It is a cascade funding call: UNITE awards and pays the support itself. The programme connects regional innovation ecosystems to build digital health value chains, support innovators’ growth, and accelerate healthcare transformation.

This call addresses two challenges: deep-tech innovations securing equal health for the population, and digital innovations tackling the health workforce crisis. Relevant work includes accessible personalised care, coordination across fragmented services, AI-supported diagnostics, workflow automation, and workforce training. Projects should develop, co-design, and test solutions at Technology Readiness Levels 6–8 in real-life settings, demonstrate progression toward TRL 8, and prepare for commercial continuation and wider deployment.
