UPC administers this EU-funded GreenChips-EDU mobility programme for students enrolled in electronics-related master's degrees at its Barcelona School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSETB). The programme supports participation in in-person training at Grenoble INP in France, combining specialised education in electronics sustainability with visits to research laboratories and industrial partners.
Participants will visit CEA Grenoble, STMicroelectronics and the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF). Meetings with Grenoble INP students are also planned to build connections and encourage future mobility. The activity contributes to GreenChips-EDU's wider goal of building a digitally supported education ecosystem for microelectronics experts working on sustainable chips and applications for a green and circular economy.
