Description
This European Defence Industry Programme (EDIP) coordination and support call is managed by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS). It supports participating countries in maturing collaborative projects towards possible future European Defence Projects of Common Interest (EDPCIs), with implementation roadmaps for the 2028–2034 Multiannual Financial Framework.
Funded work includes aligning project scope and national roles, designing cross-border cooperation frameworks, establishing common governance, preparing legal and organisational arrangements, sequencing deployment, and planning interoperability and industrial coordination. Studies may be prepared or procured. Actions should produce consolidated project proposals for the next expression of interest in 2027 and inform Programme Committee discussions. Funding does not commit the Commission to propose EDPCI identification or provide future EU implementation funding.
