    Description

This supporting action under the European Defence Industry Programme (EDIP) is managed by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS). It supports the initial functioning of Structures for European Armament Programme (SEAPs), including their work to establish, manage and maintain defence industrial readiness pools.

Supported SEAPs are expected to rent office space, recruit personnel and start and sustain operations. The intended result is more structured, long-term cooperation through cooperative armament programmes. Proposals must define measurable indicators and achievement dates for their operational objectives. Funding takes the form of a fixed contribution not linked to costs, calculated from the number of participating SEAP member countries.
