Description
This grant, under the Creative Europe Programme (MEDIA strand), aims to boost the international circulation, promotion, and distribution of recent non-national European films. It provides financial support to European sales agents, enabling them to invest in acquiring international sales rights and in the promotion, marketing, and advertising of eligible films. The initiative is structured in two phases: first, a potential fund is generated based on the sales agent's performance in the European market; second, this fund is reinvested in minimum guarantees/advances for international sales rights and in market promotion activities. The program seeks to strengthen ties between production and distribution sectors and enhance the competitiveness of European films outside their country of origin.
