    Description

European Universities is an Erasmus+ initiative funded by the European Commission and managed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). The 2027 call supports alliances demonstrating existing deep institutional transnational cooperation, including—but not limited to—alliances funded under the 2023 call. It helps them implement long-term strategies for systemic, structural and sustainable institutional transformation.

The call prioritises integrated inter-university campuses, inclusive mobility, innovative joint educational activities, flexible learning pathways and stronger joint governance. Alliances should improve educational quality, attractiveness and international competitiveness while promoting shared EU values and European identity. Education is the central focus, with links where possible to research, innovation and service to society. Activities should build on previous achievements and deliver measurable progress during the funding period.
