Description
The fellowship enables early career academic cardiothoracic surgeons from outside North America to spend six months at a host institution within North America for advanced training, research, and professional development. Recipients participate in observation, consultation, teaching, and research, with the goal of broadening their expertise and fostering international collaboration. The fellowship is intended to develop future international leaders in thoracic surgery, with the expectation that recipients will return to their home countries after completion.
