Description
This grant provides financial support of up to £500 for the independent organisation of scientific meetings, training events, single lectures, or small events such as postgraduate research days. The aim is to foster the exchange of scientific knowledge and professional development within the biochemical and molecular biosciences community. Funding is intended to support the scientific aspects of events (e.g., travel bursaries for students/ECRs, speaker travel, consumables) and cannot be used for catering or venue costs. Both face-to-face and virtual events are eligible, and applications from anywhere in the world are considered, subject to sanctions and trade restrictions.
