Description
This grant provides funding to local jails in Tennessee to implement or enhance evidence-based programming for inmates, with the goal of improving re-entry outcomes, reducing recidivism, and fostering collaboration with community partners. Supported programs must be scientifically validated and can address education, vocational training, mental health, substance use rehabilitation, and healthy relationship building. Programs must be rated as "Highest Rated" or "Second Highest Rated" by the Results First Clearing House, and vocational programs should align with offerings recognized by the Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) or the Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
