The Excellence in Education and Outreach Award is presented annually by the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology (SVP) to honor exceptional achievement in formal or informal education or outreach related to paleontology. The award is based on a poster or podium presentation delivered in the Paleontological Practices - Education & Outreach session at the SVP Annual Meeting. Its purpose is to highlight impactful contributions to the communication and dissemination of paleontological knowledge, fostering public engagement and educational excellence within the field. The winner is recognized during the Awards Banquet at the SVP Annual Meeting.
