Description
This program provides grants of up to $1,000 to TK-12 teachers at low-income public schools in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties. The goal is to enable enriching, one-day field trips for students who may otherwise lack such opportunities, covering transportation, admission, and meal costs. Excursions can include trips to museums, beaches, nature hikes, or similar educational outings, but overnight trips are not eligible. The program seeks to broaden students’ horizons and foster learning outside the classroom.
