Description
This program provides financial support to museums and art institutions outside Japan that organize exhibitions introducing Japanese art and culture to international audiences. It also supports participation in major international exhibitions, such as biennials and triennials, featuring Japanese artists and their works. The program encourages projects that foster international networks among artists, curators, and researchers, and prioritizes exhibitions with strong curatorial values or those related to significant diplomatic events. Funding may cover expenses such as packing and shipping artworks, catalogue production, and travel costs for artists and curators.
