    Description

The Experimental Psychology Society (EPS) supports workshops in experimental psychology that bring together researchers across career stages, including postgraduate students, PhD researchers, postdoctoral researchers and academics. Workshops may also focus on training early career researchers. Grants contribute to participant maintenance and basic event costs, helping researchers exchange ideas beyond the format of regular EPS scientific meetings.

The Society favours workshops where it can be recognised as a major supporter, particularly events that have not previously received an EPS grant. Accessible UK workshops open to EPS members and postgraduate students studying experimental psychology are preferred over closed events or overseas workshops involving substantial travel costs. Proposals should explain why the topic is timely, consider the diversity of the speaker programme, and identify appropriate impacts or outputs, such as a linked methods paper.
