Description
The Exploratory Visit grant from the MIT Center for Art, Science & Technology (CAST) provides small, targeted funding to facilitate early-stage interactions between MIT sponsors (faculty, directors, or eligible staff) and potential Visiting Artists. The intent is to establish the foundation for future collaborations and full Visiting Artist proposals by supporting initial visits, conversations, and ideation. This grant encourages creative connections across art, science, and technology at MIT, with a focus on projects that may lead to innovative works, significant research, or new interdisciplinary partnerships.
