The Explorers Club Impact Grants program funds fieldwork-based projects that advance science and exploration around the world. Launched in 2024, the program supports work in disciplines such as biological sciences, archaeology, anthropology, paleontology, earth sciences, ecology, and astronomy, as well as exploratory projects that generate new knowledge about the planet and its inhabitants—especially in regions undergoing significant environmental or cultural change. Projects are selected for their scientific merit, potential for meaningful outcomes, innovative methodologies, and ability to tell a compelling story to a global audience. The program encourages adventure with a purpose, combining exploration with rigorous scientific or conservation objectives, and strongly values the inclusion of local collaborators and robust ethical considerations.
