The Explorers Club Teaching Fellowship provides K-12 classroom teachers from the United States, Canada, and Mexico with a unique opportunity to join a two-week scientific expedition as full team members. Fellows gain hands-on field experience alongside scientists, conservationists, and other professionals, with the aim of bringing the spirit and practice of exploration back to their classrooms. After the expedition, fellows serve as ambassadors for exploration, host local explorers at their schools, and create lesson plans and educational content for The Explorers Club based on their fieldwork. The program is designed to foster educational innovation, inspire students, and build a network of explorer-educators across North America.
