Description
The University of Colorado Boulder’s Research & Innovation Office (RIO) provides partial support for planning and hosting conferences that promote Boulder campus faculty scholarship, research, and creative work. Conferences may take place at CU Boulder or virtually, provided an eligible CU Boulder employee hosts the virtual event. A limited number of awards are available throughout the year, subject to funding availability.
The program emphasizes gatherings with a clear purpose, significance to their field, and benefits for the campus and external research community. RIO prioritizes interdisciplinary conferences and events that foster new collaborations between CU Boulder and external researchers. Support may cover conference organization expenses, including honoraria, travel, space and equipment rental, publicity, technology, and student support.
