Description
Faculty Development Grants from the Israel Institute provide funding for faculty at accredited colleges or universities in the United States or Canada to develop new Israel-focused courses or to add substantial Israel-related content to existing courses. The grant supports activities such as research, travel to Israel, language study, and other initiatives that contribute to the development and teaching of courses about Israel. The program prioritizes undergraduate offerings and emphasizes the creation of new courses with significant Israel content. Courses must be at least 3 credits, taught by the applicant, and offered for a full semester or quarter (minimum 10 weeks), with flexibility for courses involving student travel to Israel.
