    Description

The Faculty Enrichment Program (FEP) is a fully funded visiting scholar initiative designed for university instructors from Uzbekistan. The program provides a four-month academic enrichment experience at a U.S. university, focusing on enhancing pedagogical skills, curriculum development, and professional expertise. Fellows participate in observing courses, attending academic conferences, collaborating with faculty mentors, and may deliver lectures or co-teach. The program aims to deepen understanding of the U.S. higher education system, foster educational ties, and build professional networks between the U.S. and Uzbekistan. Sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent and administered by American Councils for International Education, the FEP has operated since 2019.
