Description
The Cornell Center for Social Sciences (CCSS) Faculty Fellows Program provides time and space for ambitious, high-impact social science research. It nurtures Cornell faculty careers by helping scholars advance substantial projects toward completion while fostering intellectual exchange and appreciation for interdisciplinary scholarship. Fellows may pursue individual research or collaborative work with another nominee.
The year-long fellowship includes one semester in residence at CCSS, with release from teaching and heavy administrative responsibilities. Fellows are expected to devote most of their residency time to their chosen research project. Throughout the academic year, they meet regularly to exchange feedback, participate in professional development, and discuss current themes and new directions in the social sciences.
