Description
The Faculty Fellowship Awards, offered by the Humanities Research Institute (HRI) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, provide selected full-time, tenured or tenure-track faculty with a semester-long teaching release and $3,000 in research funds. Fellows participate in a yearlong interdisciplinary Fellows Seminar and related programming aimed at fostering humanities and humanities-inflected research, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration within the humanities and with the arts. The program is designed to build a vibrant scholarly community, support the development of significant research projects, and encourage engagement in HRI activities.
