The Faculty Grant from the MIT Center for Art, Science & Technology (CAST) supports MIT full-time faculty in developing research or creative projects that have significant impact on campus or beyond. The program is designed to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and prioritize projects that engage art, science, and/or technology in innovative ways aligned with CAST’s mission. Proposals that address racial and social justice or amplify the artistic work and voices of Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) are especially encouraged. Publication projects are not eligible.
