Description
The Nanovic Institute for European Studies at the University of Notre Dame supports substantive faculty-led student trips and seminars in Europe through a competitive funding process. The program focuses on site-specific, immersive experiences that enliven European studies at Notre Dame by bringing students to European locations for learning grounded in the places they visit.
Trips typically last five to seven days and may take place during fall, winter, or spring breaks, or during the summer. They may connect to a credit-bearing course, but a course connection is not required. This allows faculty to propose both travel linked to coursework and student trips organized independently of a credit-bearing class.
