Description
Western Michigan University’s Faculty Research and Creative Activities Award (FRACAA) supports significant research, rigorous scientific inquiry, original artistic activity, and inventive technology. Administered by the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI), it is one of four programs within the Faculty Research and Creative Activities Support Fund. Its central goal is to increase external funding for faculty scholarship while supporting a broad range of research and creative work.

The competitive program prioritizes work that advances new hypotheses, research questions, art forms, or modes of exhibition and makes meaningful contributions within its field.
