Description
The Faculty Research Engagement Grant from North Carolina Space Grant is designed to advance faculty research projects that actively involve students and align with one or more of NASA’s Directorates (Human Spaceflight, Research and Technology, Science, Mission Support). The program encourages both emerging and established researchers to propose work with strong scientific and technical merit, particularly those fostering hands-on student engagement. Projects may address a range of NASA-relevant topics, including but not limited to mission planning, human spaceflight, space science, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in aerospace applications. The initiative aims to cultivate a skilled workforce and promote innovative solutions to complex challenges in aerospace and related fields.
