The Faculty Research Travel Fund (FRTF) at Western Michigan University (WMU) provides financial assistance to board-appointed faculty to support travel for the purpose of presenting original or applied research, or exhibiting/performing creative works at professional meetings. The fund aims to enhance the dissemination of WMU’s scholarly and creative activity by covering eligible travel expenses for faculty who are actively presenting their work at high-caliber professional forums. The program is administered by the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) and guided by the Research Policies Council to ensure alignment with university policies and priorities.
