Description
Faculty Scholarship is an internal funding program administered by John Jay College of Criminal Justice’s Office for Advancement of Research (OAR). It supports faculty efforts toward publishing a significant work of scholarship or mounting a creative work, including a performance, art exhibition, or musical composition. The intended outcome is a published book, an article in a peer-reviewed journal, or production of the funded creative work.
The program connects support for data collection, analysis, and creative production with those scholarly outcomes. Funding can help faculty travel to libraries, archives, or other research sites, purchase software or equipment needed for analysis, or cover costs associated with mounting creative work.
