Description
Tulane University’s Provost’s Office, in partnership with individual schools, provides tuition for faculty participation in NCFDD’s Faculty Success Program. This 10-week online experience combines expert coaching and a structured peer community to help tenure-track and tenured faculty increase research and writing productivity, develop sustainable daily writing habits, and improve work–life balance.
Participants learn to set personal and professional goals aligned with institutional priorities, create realistic plans, and develop a publication portfolio that exceeds institutional promotion criteria. The program also addresses balancing teaching, service, research, and writing; identifying obstacles to progress; and prioritizing physical and emotional health. Its training, accountability, and peer support focus on challenges shared across academic disciplines.
