Description
Tulane University's Provost's Office offers tuition support for tenure-track and tenured faculty to participate in the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD) Faculty Success Program. This 10-week online initiative is designed to help faculty improve their research and writing productivity, develop sustainable writing habits, and achieve a healthier work–life balance. Participants benefit from expert coaching, a structured peer community, and strategies for goal-setting, time management, and prioritizing well-being.
The program focuses on providing faculty with:
- Practical strategies for time management and productivity.
- Support in building a sustainable daily writing habit.
- Guidance in developing a publication portfolio for promotion.
- Tools to manage teaching, research, and service responsibilities.
- Coaching to overcome professional obstacles and prioritize health.
Faculty selected for the program must participate fully and share their experiences with the Provost's Office through an evaluation, such as a presentation or report.
