Description
The National Association of Realtors’ Fair Housing Grant supports state and local REALTOR® associations in creating or improving systems, programs, and policies that advance fair housing and homeownership opportunities. The program promotes partnerships with community organizations, strengthens REALTORS®’ commitment to equal professional service, and deepens understanding of fair housing history and its relevance today.
Two funding levels support professional education and broader community work. Level 1 funds classes, forums, speakers, and facilitated book discussions, including NAR’s Bias Override and At Home With Diversity® courses. Level 2 supports initiatives with broad community reach, such as public-facing symposiums, curriculum development, and educational materials. Collaboration with local agencies and organizations furthering fair housing is encouraged.
